This happened in Juazeiro do Norte, state of Ceará, Brazil. At first I was like – Ceará, this must be the first for this state on Best Gore cause it didn't sound familiar at all, but then I searched the site and found one post from there. A body of a young woman, approximately 20 years old was found on Sunday March 17, 2013 near a construction site on Rua Socorro Mota, near the junction with Rua Padre Manoel Germano, next to Espaço Mix in bairro Lagoa Seca. The woman was naked, had her face disfigured from blunt force trauma and was partially covered with sand used as building material on the site.
The identity of the victim has not been determined, but she was thin, tanned and had a tattoo of a flower near her navel. Her hands were bound with a rope which was likely used to keep the woman restrained while she was being raped. It would appear that at one point, despite being naked and injured, the girl made a dash for it but was overwhelmed by the perpetrator and stoned to death.
Near her corpse was a pink blouse and a pink bra, droplets of blood in various places and two condoms. I'm not a Brazilian cop, but something's telling me that a rapist would not bother wearing a condom. The construction site has probably been used in the past by horny youth with nowhere to go to have a little privacy so they bumped their nasties at a construction site at night.
Despite sharing the border with the state of Pernambuco (where Caruaru is), only women have been murdered in Ceará this year (this one is one of them). All together, 29 people have been murdered in the state in 2013 so far. Caruaru gets more than that per month
